Emma played the part of Alyssa the Evil Witch in “The race of the cities: Bad vs. Good” at the Dallas Children’s Theater. All the kids picked their own character names, special powers, destinations and mode of transportation in the storyline. Alyssa/Emma’s special power was that she can break glass with her scream.
UP Elementary had a Mother’s Day Performance with all of the Kindergarten classes.
Emma performed at the 9:30 and 11 AM services at Highland Park Presbyterian Church for Palm Sunday. They asked us not to video tape the actual service, so here’s a video of when they practiced in the sanctuary before the services.
We had Emma’s 6th Birthday Party at Michael’s. We had the kids do some coloring before everybody arrived, then moved on to painting aprons and decorating cookies before we sang Happy Birthday and had cookie cake and ice cream.
It was a little hectic coordinating 20+ 5 – 6 year olds, so not much video, but here’s everyone singing Happy Birthday to Emma.
