UP Elementary Mother’s Day Performance

UP Elementary had a Mother’s Day Performance with all of the Kindergarten classes. 

Palm Sunday performance

Emma performed at the 9:30 and 11 AM services at Highland Park Presbyterian Church for Palm Sunday.  They asked us not to video tape the actual service, so here’s a video of when they practiced in the sanctuary before the services.

6th Birthday Party

We had Emma’s 6th Birthday Party at Michael’s.  We had the kids do some coloring before everybody arrived, then moved on to painting aprons and decorating cookies before we sang Happy Birthday and had cookie cake and ice cream.

It was a little hectic coordinating 20+ 5 – 6 year olds, so not much video, but here’s everyone singing Happy Birthday to Emma.

Highland Park High School Cheer Camp

1st day of School

Emma missed the first and third day of school at Claire's Christian Day School because of the stomach bug.  She loves her teacher Mrs. Hugg and is very excited about her last year of Pre-K.

Summer Travel to Wisconsin and Chicago

  

 

This summer we drove up to Chicago and then to Wisconsin to spend time with Mike's side of the family.  We had a lot of fun and the weather was wonderful!  Click on the picture of Emma and Mike tubing to see more pictures.

Emma's Summer Drama Camp Performance

After 2 weeks in drama camp at the Dallas Children's Theater, they had a performance of 'The Bear Snores On'.  Emma was one of the bunnies with her friend, Alexandra Baroody.  Emma's line was 'Let's pop some white corn and brew black tea'.  Click on the picture of Emma holding the flowers to see more pictures.
